Yuantian Biotechnology (Tianjin) Co., Ltd.is a pioneer in enzymatic recycling technology for waste PET plastics, specializing in R&D and industrial-scale application. As the world's first GRS-certified company using biological recycling technology, we have led over 30 research projects and secured 35 domestic and international patents.
Through integrated enzyme engineering and genetic engineering, we eveloped high-efficiency PET hydrolases that break down diverse PET waste into monomers (r PTA and r EG) under ambient temperature and pressure. These monomers are repolymerized into food-grade rbPET, enabling infinite recycling of PET plastics for applications in:food packaging,textile fibers,engineering materials,optical devices.
Our R&D team has established a comprehensive biological manufacturing platform in Tianjin, complete with ton-scale pilot facilities including fully automated fermentation systems, pilot reactors and product purification systems. Notably, the world's first 300-ton rPTA production line has been in stable operation for over six months, while a new 5,000-ton production line is currently under construction.
